The austinist has been a constant source of support for out group, and we love them dearly. They're a great source of info on the happenings in and around Austin.

Brilliant Traces

the vestige group will open their newest production, Brilliant Traces by Cindy Lou Johnson, Thursday July 26th at Hyde Park Theatre ( 511 W. 43rd, Austin, TX 78751) The show stars Jen Brown and Andrew Varenhorst and is directed by Susie Gidseg. Full run dates will be Thursday- Saturday at 8 pm July 26th - 28th and August 2nd - 4th. Tickets will be available thru AusTix ( www.texasperforms.com).

We have extended our performance dates!!!

We've added six shows at The City Theatre (3823 Airport Blvd. Suite D, Austin, TX 78722). Shows are at 7:30 pm August 10th-11th and 17th-18th with Sunday Matinees at 2:30pm on August 12th and 19th.

Brilliant Traces is a story about 2 people and their struggle to adapt to societal norms. Heartbreakingly human and devastatingly funny at the same time, this is a very physical show.

We are all running from something. In the middle of Alaska a distressed Rosannah DeLuce stumbles into the one-room home of Henry Harry. Why is she there? What is she running from? What is he hiding from?

Recently honored with a production in the Best of Show billing at FronteraFest's Short Fringe (Peter Snoad's, My Name is Art), the vestige group is continuing the trend it began with Neil LaBute's Fat Pig of bringing insightful and entertaining productions to the Austin theatre community. Founded on Craigslist in 2006 and maintained by young and dedicated theatre nuts, the vestige group is turning theatre on its side with productions that challenge both the actors and the audience, performing in standard theatre venues as well as in non-traditional settings, such as private homes.
